hi, i'm mike the poolman in folsom, california and i'm going to show you how to drainwater out of your pool especially when it rains to get waterout of it. you need to find a hose bib on your equipment. hose bib, some people call it a water spigot, open it up with the pump on and water will drain out. if you want to connect a hose to it and run it somewhere you can or just let it run off the pad depending on your drainage. i recommend setting your kitchen timer so you don't forget about it and it drains your pool too much. when you're done, turn it off.
